International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)
ITLS
The EMSB course provides a systematic and structured method for managing severe burns in patients. It is supported by scientific evidence and employs different teaching strategies to focus on essential principles and treatment protocols. Moreover, the course consistently emphasises the advantages of a uniform approach to emergency burn care among all healthcare professionals. This approach improves the quality of initial treatment, facilitates appropriate referrals, and ultimately enhances the chances of survival and recovery for patients with severe burns.
